Nursing home close to the community of Boitsfort, a small number of sisters have been cared for here since 2019.  ”The example of a life that moves towards God, in joy, serenity and goodness, is the most convincing sign for a society in search of meaning…” (Rule of Life 126)

Founded in 1982 as an international student community, our community has since become neighbourhood and parish oriented.  Our mission is centred upon educational activities, literacy programmes and parish pastoral work. Welcome-Babbelkot is a non-profit organisation founded by the community, involving a large number of volunteers. https://welcome-babbelkot.be

Our community is located in the heart of the city of Tournai and at the heart of the life of the diocese. We were invited to Tournai in 2002 to animate prayer and liturgy in the Seminary where we live. We also participate in the youth ministry of Tournai and in biblical formation in the diocese. We offer support to the residents of the house, including students and young Ukrainians. The chapel is open throughout the day and everyone is invited to join us for liturgical prayer.
